Every Alphabet Bags collection is designed by Hayley and Lucas from their studio in the lovely market town of Saffron Walden, with an emphasis on simple, bold, and cheerful design. The brand works closely with UK based manufacturers to bring their designs to life using the highest quality materials.
Also the Bison is home to a range of freshly illustrated specimens featured on stationery, homeware and accessories. Each design is hand-painted in watercolour by artist Maddie Chambers in her London studio, taking inspiration from antique scientific illustrations and dusty old collections in Natural History Museums and bringing them vividly back to life.
"In 2008 we created ban.do because we loved laughing, connecting and designing things that made people happy. Over a decade later a lot has changed, but why we do what we do and who we are hasn’t. Stacey is an artist and illustrator based on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire border, in the UK. She specialises in watercolour paintings and lino cut art, but also loves to experiment with other art materials and mediums. Her work is heavily inspired by her love for reading and books, the natural world, medieval history, and magic and witchcraft.
